Why Couples (and Companies) Choose the Ranch
We're not a venue with rules. We're a working ranch that opens its gates for events that matter.
It's a Real Working Ranch
Not a wedding factory. Stacey raises the herd, runs the property, and personally hosts every event. No venue manager bureaucracy.
Honey Lake Light
The light here at golden hour is unlike anywhere else. Photographers travel to find this kind of warm directional sunlight. Your event gets it for free.
76 Acres of Quiet
Real space. Real solitude. Your event is the only one on the property. No double-bookings, no shared spaces, no rushed turnovers.
Moments From Past Events
A few favorite frames from weddings, retreats, and gatherings on the ranch.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the questions we hear most about hosting an event.
-
Weddings and large events benefit from 3–12 months lead time. Smaller events (workshops, photoshoots, intimate celebrations) often work with 4–8 weeks. The ranch books one event per day, so popular dates (weekends in spring and fall) go first.
-
We host events from 10 guests up to about 150 guests. Smaller intimate events are welcome and often suit the ranch's quiet character best. For groups over 100, we'll walk through logistics carefully during the consultation.
-
Yes — and they usually are. Coordinated herd appearances are included with every event. We work with you on timing so the alpacas show up at the right moments and don't steal focus from yours. (Though they often do anyway.)
-
We don't provide catering or rentals directly — you bring the vendors that match your vision. We maintain a list of trusted local vendors (caterers, florists, photographers, planners) we've worked with successfully and are happy to share recommendations.
-
Yes. Glamping tents, geodesic domes, and RV sites are available for the wedding party, retreat group, or out-of-town guests. Many couples book the ranch as a full weekend — see our Stays page for options, and let us know during inquiry so we can coordinate.
Your Vision. Our Ranch. The Alpacas as Witnesses.
